Have you been wondering what in the world is going on in the lives of your Naptown Roller Girls? Well, fear not – we have some updates!

We’ve been working our tails off to get in shape for our fall away games. We took on a last-minute bout on Sept. 8 to play our sisters to the east and brought home a 121-59 win from Gem City (Dayton, Ohio).

And remember our very first bout at the Indiana State Fairgrounds last January? The Cherry Stomp re-match is coming up in Nashville, Tenn. on Oct. 20th in the Sports Arena at the Tennessee State Fair Grounds. Info and directions can be found on our events page at naptownrollergirls.com/events/.

We are in the final stages of preparing to announce our full six-game home season. Until then, mark your calendars for Dec. 29th, 2007. Our holiday gift to you is the first bout of our 2nd season!

We also have the ever popular “Skate with the Roller Girls” session taking place at Southland Skating Center on Bluff Road starting Oct. 6th from 2 to 4:30 p.m. These open skate sessions with our gals will take place the first Saturday of every month.

And, finally, be on the look out for a re-vamped Web site and a 2008 Roller Girl Pin-Up calendar in the next couple of months. We’re also going to be appearing in several publications: International Tattoo Art magazine, Skin Art magazine and Hometown Hot Rod magazine among them.
