Naptown Roller Girls present the first bout of season 5: Smack-o-Lantern. It is a single-header bout featuring Naptown’s Tornado Sirens vs. Maine’s Port Authorities (Portland, Maine). This will be Maine’s first time playing in Indianapolis, and their second time bouting against the Tornado Sirens, after their narrow loss at the East Coast Extravaganza in Philly this past June. This is sure to be a grueling matchup against two highly ranked teams in their respective regions!

The Port Authorities bring fierce blockers Patty O’Mean and captain, Punchy O’Guts to duke it out with Naptown’s own Sweet C, Ana Slays Ya and 4 Leaf Cleaver. You’ll likely see another captain on the jammer line for Maine as double threat Itsy Bitsy Fighter will try to score some points along with her teammates, the speedy Grim D. Mise and Shirley B. Slammin’. Could Naptown’s jammer line see the return of Jane Ire and Blazin’ Ace? Will either of them be wearing the star for the Sirens during the first home bout? We’ll have to wait to find out what Coach J has up her sleeve since we saw several jammers rotating in and out during regionals last month.

Get to The Pepsi Coliseum on October 23rd to be in on the action from the first bout of Season 5 to the last. The bout kicks off at 7:30pm SHARP!

We are collecting new blankets, pillows, diapers or used cell phones at our Oct 23rd bout for The Julian Center. We are also donating our after party cover proceeds, so you can help by coming to dance with us at Birdy’s after the bout too!

Tickets will remain onsale online until midnight the day of the bout. Physical tickets will remain onsale at our select locations until the Friday afternoon before the bout.

Our bouts are family friendly but it is VERY loud! Our fans are excited! If your child is scared easily by loud noise, a roller derby bout may not be a good place to be. You may also want to bring ear protection for young children.
