Q & A with Trauma-lina

She describes herself as a “kinder gentler” version of trauma, although she is anything BUT on the track. Trauma-lina came to Naptown more than three years ago and worked her way up very quickly as a strong jammer for both the Warning Belles and the Tornado Sirens. Her answers are quick, which is just like her.
Q: What’s your name and where do you come from?
A: Trauma-lina. I hail from Monterey, California.
Q: What attracted you to roller derby?
A: The opportunity to productively channel frustration.
Q: Were you athletic growing up?
A: Oh yes. Soccer, Tennis, Softball, Volleyball, Track, Hiking, Cross Country…
Q: What’s been the hardest part of this experience?
A: The endless lessons in humility.
Q: Rumor has it you have an alter ego called “Trauma-TINA-” who is that?
