Tornado Sirens are Regionals Bound

UPDATE #3: WE’RE GOING TO CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!! The Sirens played the game just about the best we’ve ever seen and came out on top of Ohio Roller Girls with a 222-86 decisive win. This landed them in 3rd place for the tournament and sends them to Atlanta November 2nd – 4th for WFTDA Championships. WE ARE SO PROUD!
UPDATE #2: The Sirens fell to Minnesota Roller Girls 86-283 on Saturday. During the game our triple threat, Majestic, was injured. She’s leaving the regionals weekend with a broken fibula. Send healing thoughts her way. Our next bout is Sunday, Sept. 16th at 4pm. We will take on Ohio Roller Girls as we defend our 3rd place spot and work for another shot at Championships.
UPDATE: Tornado Sirens take the first bout 187-156! Way to go! Next up we play the winner of Minnesota vs Madison tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 15th at 4pm. GO SIRENS!
Your Naptown Tornado Sirens are heading into regional playoffs this weekend in Niagara Falls, NY. They enter the tournament as the #3 seed and face the #6 seed Detroit Derby Girls in their first game of the weekend on Friday, Sept. 14th at 2:00 P.M. EST.
Remembering back to regional playoffs last year in Indianapolis, the final bout for the Tornado Sirens was against the then-#3 seed Detroit Derby Girls. The then-#4 seed Tornado Sirens won, landing their first trip to the WFTDA World Championships. This bout and all the bouts from “Thrill of the Spill” will be live on WFTDA.tv.
