Q: If you could be any superhero, who would you be?
A: GI Jane! She is everything I want to be.
Q: How did you choose your name?
A: I chose it after watching the movie, Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do when you’re not playing derby?
A: Playing with my dog, a German short-haired pointer named Eva. She just had her birthday in September!
Q: What are you best known for off the track?
A: My bluntness and crazy stories.
Q: Name one thing you really want to do someday.
A: I dream of writing a good self-help book of life lessons.
Q: What would you tell ladies aspiring to make a derby team?
A: Just do it.
Q: How long have you been in roller derby?
A: 3 years in November.
Q: What’s the worst injury you have had so far?
A: I got back-blocked during a bout (meaning an opposing skater was pushing on my back), face planted to the track, and got a concussion.
Q: What helped you grow as a skater?
A: I picked a skater a step ahead of me. Once I reached her level, I picked another skater and tried to reach her level. This kept my goals reasonable and I could see my growth faster.
Q: What is your ultimate goal as a skater?
A: I want to be the best skater I can be. I want to be a Siren. I want to give 110% and maintain a positive attitude, no matter what the cards deal me.
