Lots of stuff: movies, biking, tennis, sleeping in, hanging out with friends

Hehe.
What / who inspires you?
My grandfather. He was an amazing man with an uncanny knack to put a smile on the face of anyone he met.
What is the meaning behind your derby name?
I was named during one of our first workshops. Blue was the color of my Messiah College shirt, my alma mater. It stuck.
What advice would you give to anyone looking to make it in the real world?
In the profession of science … find summer jobs that will give you experience in the field you are looking for. If you don’t know which field of science you would like to pursue, these jobs may help you figure that out.
What is your favorite inspirational quote?
Just be yourself.
What is your favorite sports movie?
Miracle. Disney has a way with sports films.
What kind of wheels do you skate on?
Round ones. I actually have multiples. Due to skating fast in circles, this is bound to change.

What advice would you give to someone looking to enter the world of derby?
Get good health insurance.
What would surprise people the most to know about you?
I’m free of tattoos and piercings. I used to be a horse.
