What do you do for a living?
I’m a color consultant for Sherwin Williams

What are the names of your pets, and what are they?
Luna B. Moonshine and Artimus J. Catzworth, cats. Chaunzy (BoomBoom) Doggerton, a dog.
Were you a troublemaker as a kid?
Not so much.
As an adult
I wouldn’t say I am a troublemaker, but I have no problem speaking my mind.
What is the meaning behind your derby name?
Well I guess there are two meanings behind my name. My grandfather passed away when I was 3 or 4. My mother told me he never called me by my name. He always called me Daisy May. After he passed, it was kind of forgotten about over the years. In choosing a name for derby I really wanted something that truly represented me. So I chose DAZY because of the nostalgia and the spelling cause I tend to stay a little dazed and confused from time to time. I chose the last name DISASTER because I’m a total walking catastrophe. If it can happen to anyone, it will happen to me.
What kind of wheels do you skate on?
Radar Gamma Rays
Tailbone protector or padded shorts?
Neither. I’m a rebel with a sore ass.
What advice would you give to someone looking to enter the world of derby?
Try to get in the best shape possible before you try out. And spend as much time on your skates as you can.
