What was your first car?
1966 Chevy Nova II, the Land Shark

What do you do for a living?
Depends on who you ask—Computer stuff, car stuff, people stuff, money stuff.

What are the names of your pets, and what are they?
All rescues. Romeo, brown dog, lab-like; Lou, black cat or “scratchy” as Romeo refers to him; Maggie, brown and fluffy, or “mittens” per Romeo

What do you like to do outside of derby?
Read, knit, run, and watch movies

Were you a troublemaker as a kid?
Yes.

As an adult?
I am sure I will be when I grow up.

What / who inspires you?
Momma X

What is the meaning behind your derby name?
I wanted a name that my Mom could scream and not blush … and to represent the generation. Besides, it is cheap when paying by letters on jerseys.

What advice would you give to anyone looking to make it in the real world?
No dream is too big, never give up, and don’t make excuses. Finally … question what is “real.”

What is your favorite inspirational quote?
“Sports do not build character. They reveal it.” — John Wooden

What is your favorite sports movie?
Not my typical genre, but Murderball would be one I can recall appreciating. Tough, tough athletes.

What kind of wheels do you skate on?
Dirty red ones

Tailbone protector or padded shorts?
Both. I swear my butt isn’t that big. Ok … only slightly smaller.

What advice would you give to someone looking to enter the world of derby?

You will learn more about your mental and physical limits in two months than most learn in their lifetime. Forget comfort zones.

What would surprise people the most to know about you?
I know all the words to LL Cool J’s I Need Love
