List of injuries from skating: Broken tailbone, Concussion, Sprained Ankle, Lost both big toe nails, Broken ankle (plate and six screws still attached), Torn PCL in right knee, Torn cartilage in right knee

What do you do for a living?
Manage the stage

What are the names of your pets, and what are they?
Puggy Sue, Boston terrier (RIP); Newman, Weimaraner (RIP); Pippet, cuddle mutt

What do you like to do outside of derby?
Scuba dive, call cues, play with my nephews and niece, watch my husband play drums, and do the things that make the derby business run

Were you a troublemaker as a kid?
no one knows….

As an adult?
I’m sweet like Smucker’s. Always have been.

What / who inspires you?
My mother. She never ever, ever gives up.

What is the meaning behind your derby name?
Just look at me—I’m a strawberry.

What advice would you give to anyone looking to make it in the real world?
Anything worth doing is difficult.

What is your favorite inspirational quote?
The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience. — Eleanor Roosevelt

What kind of wheels do you skate on?
Witch Doctors and Pushers. But if I make a comeback, it sounds like G Rods are the way to go.

What advice would you give to someone looking to enter the world of derby?
Get ready. Your life will forever change, and you will love it.

What would surprise people the most to know about you?
I hold my cards close to my chest. Say what I have to and hold back the rest.
