NRG will be holding a one day beginner workshop at our Warehouse practice space on Saturday, January 28th from 2-4 pm. Any female skaters ages 18+ who are interested should attend. This workshop is designed to teach some fun basics to roller derby! We will focus on basic skating and derby skills, derby rules, and physical fitness. This is a great way to learn some of the things you will need to know and work on when we have our training workshops Spring/Summer of 2012 for our yearly try outs!
This one day workshop will be $20 to participate and $15 to watch (must be female, 18+ to watch). You will need your own gear which includes quad skates, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, mouth guard and most importantly, a helmet. For any questions and registration, please email freshmeat@naptownrollergirls.com where you will receive the location and further information!
